This workshop is designed to empower you with simple tools to regulate your body and stay connected to self in your daily lives.

Create space for Yourself, your inner peace and joy. Reconnect with your body, learn its wisdom and how to be in your full potential in 2025 and beyond. We will focus on somatic tools and practices that help come back to self, rest, reset, rediscover the inner guidance and create a path forward filled with you, ease and grace.

Tools and techniques you will learn include:

Basics: Learn mind-body tools to help you increase your capacity to bring your attention back to you - your body, your needs and intentions, even in the midst of competing priorities from work and personal life. Learn a simple daily self-care practice that you can do on the go (subway, uber, making breakfast). Reconnect to your inner voice and rediscover your inner peace, wisdom and joy

Nervous system regulation: Regulate your nervous system and learn tools to sustain it back at home. Understand burnout and discover simple, body-based techniques to prevent it. Discover how to use Polyvagal Theory to self-regulate in stressful situations. Explore how to find space for Yourself in a busy life

Embodied boundaries: Explore new, embodied, ways to set up boundaries with others and within yourself. Learn techniques to track it as you come back to work

Rebalancing: explore and rebalance your inner feminine and masculine, doing and resting, giving and receiving. Learn how to balance the polarities in daily life. (Re-)learn how to rest and how to receive more and push less

Thought patterns release: identify and let go of negative thought patterns through somatic trauma informed exercises. Increase awareness and start releasing patterns that may lead you to burnout, increased stress, anxiety or over giving

Dreaming and redesign: Create a 2025 vision for wholeness, thriving and joy. Use a ritual to support you in these intentions and anchor some of the practices

Your teacher

Marta Milkowska has over 15 years of experience in behavioral and women’s health . She taught workshops for top Fortune 500 companies, such as Google Health, GE Health, BCG, numerous health-tech start-ups, world’s top universities, and governments in > 15 countries. Marta was a part of a US government COVID response team in 2020-2021 and co-founded and led two health start-ups, in women’s health and mental health. She holds MBA from Stanford and Behavior Science MPA from Harvard. Marta bridges the best western leadership trainings with science-based trauma informed psychology and Eastern approaches. She finalized 5 levels of body somatic teacher training, Peter Levine’s Polyvagal training, Hoffman Institute trauma release training, yin yoga teacher training and is a certified tantra trainer.

Marta also experienced a serious burnout and spent the last 2 years healing and studying with world class teachers the science and practices for recovery from burnout, nervous system and hormonal dysregulation and trauma stored in the body. She designed “Back to Self” to share with other women to the most effective burnout prevention tools and practices to help them prevent what she went through.

We move slow and go deep

Everything is designed to reset your nervous system. We balance well the depth of learning, fun activities and space for integration and rest. Days include 4-6 hours of classes, time for additional yoga sessions or spa, evening activities in Ubud or around and around 2 hours a day for reflection and journaling. The group is small (8-10 women) which helps us create intimacy and restful state.

Our daily schedule will help you balance learning and deep inner work

with rest, fun and connection. Example daily schedule:

7 am - 8 am - Free time / optional morning meditation or movement

8 am - 9:30 am - Breakfast break

9:30 - 12:00 - Workshop

12:00 - 1:30 pm - Lunch break

1:30 - 3:00 pm - Workshop

3:00 - 5:00 pm - Reflection and journaling

5:00 - 6:00 pm - Dinner break

6:00 - 9:00 pm - Sound healing, ceremony, etc.

You will stay a magical jungle view retreat center, nestled in the middle of rice fields

Accommodation

We will stay in a magical retreat center, with private pool, jungle views and rice field walks. All rooms have private bathroom and have a jungle view. Two options available:

  • Shared twin room $33/ night (based on availability, we will try to match participants)

  • Private room $60/ night

Please note - accommodation cost is additional to the training fee. Airport transport can be arranged with the hotel for additional fee (~$30)

We recommend additional day integration before and after the course to wind in and out. Spa services, rice field walks and local shopping markets are available nearby. Additional accommodation may be arranged with the center.
